Taiwanese singer Show Luo forked out over S$1 million for a holiday trip to Maldives with his mum and colleagues.

According to the Taiwanese media, Show treated his mother and 27 colleagues from his management company to a four-day vacation in the Maldives. The generous artiste took care of all the expenses which set him back about NT$5.13 million (approximately S$1.03 million).

Show and his colleagues were mesmerised by the beautiful white sands and crystal-clear sea the moment they arrived in the Maldives.

The resort upgraded Show’s guest room to a 200-square-metre luxurious suite surrounded by the sea, which he shared with 6 other close friends. The suite allowed them to dive from the balcony into the sea, which made Show exclaim: “This is heaven on earth!” in amazement.

The guest rooms arranged for the rest of the group were equally impressive – each with a large bedroom, balcony and private swimming pool. They also had a special bathtub with a transparent base that allowed guests to view the fishes in the sea right beneath them.

wow, so now, even Alan Tam is getting in to the situation lol.

*I may be a fan of show but, I think this is too childish. I mean yeah, it might have been a joke for Show to ask his fans in the concert in HK of his name and Anthony may have not liked that joke :)) and the reporters are not helping the situation either. And now, Alan Tam who has a clean intention of being the ‘peacemaker’ was called ‘busybody’ XD Seriously, when will all this stop? *

Show Luo’s role in famous actor-director Steven Chow’s upcoming movie Journey to the West has been rapidly gaining popularity after it was recently unveiled.

Fans can expect a good laugh from Show, as director Stephen Chow described him as “the atomic bomb of comedy”, praising his comic talent.

The multi-talented Taiwanese singer-actor plays a “weak gentleman” in the movie, alongside big names such as Tawainese actress Shu Qi and Chinese actor Wen Zhang.

Show said that he was honoured to be able to fulfill his dream of acting in his idol Stephen Chow’s movie.

Commenting on his role, Show said that his character in Journey to the West would bring pleasant surprises for the audience.

Contrary to his usual on-stage image where fans are used to seeing him dance, Show said that Stephen did not allow him to dance in the movie in order to give the audience a refreshing image. He added, “Stephen is wise like that”.
